Hopi Ear Candling
Ear candling has been used by many cultures as an effective natural therapy since ancient times.
The Hopi Indians, the oldest Pueblo people with great medicinal knowledge and a high degree of spirituality, used ear candles to clear the head on a physical and spiritual level.
The effect of burning the ear candles induces a pleasant feeling of warmth and a balance of pressure in the ears, forehead and sinuses and promotes a healthy atmosphere in the ears and sinus cavities.
Hopi Ear Candling is a pleasant method of local heat application and has the following applications & benefits:
- Earaches, blocked ear & sinus problems
- Pressure regulation in case of headache, migraine, sinusitis and rhinitis
- Noises in the ear (ringing)
- Stimulates blood and lymphatic circulation
- Freer nasal breathing and improved sense of smell

The treatment is performed with the person lying down in a  comfortable position and last for about 45 minutes. I spend the rest of the hour session talking about your condition and giving you recommendations appropriate to your case.
To enhance the natural effects of the ear candles, I include a neck, head and face massage that includes pressure points.
The whole treatment brings a wonderful relaxation and a feeling of calmness.
A course of treatment may be necessary depending on the present condition, this will be discussed in your first consultation.
In the presence of a perforated eardrum or tympanostomy tube implants (grommets) the use of earcandles is not recommended.
